National small and micro-business support association, the National Enterprise Network (NEN) celebrated the finale of its 2020 conference by announcing the member organisation winners of the Enterprise Annual Awards, with the Colchester Business Enterprise Agency (Colbea) shortlisted for Enterprise Support Organisation of the year and Colbea non-executive director Kate Everett winning Highly Commended for 2020/21 Enterprise Support Champion of the Year.
Kate, who has worked with Colbea for more than 15 years, and runs Manningtree-based PR and marketing agency TWI was highly commended in her category in recognition of her support for local enterprise. Speaking after the announcement, Kate said, “The work delivered by the team at Colbea in enabling, supporting and nurturing businesses is incredible and something I am so proud to be associated with. Even in 2020, the hardest of years, Colbea mobilised its services to help support as many businesses across Essex as it could and continued to deliver training programmes for new businesses.
“Working with Ashleigh (Seymour-Rutherford, Colbea CEO), the Colbea team and board is incredibly rewarding, and being recognised by the National Enterprise network alongside such tough competition is pretty special.”
